Stock Valuations fills valuation worksheets with financial data, estimates, and calculations for the ticker you select.
Mack Duan maintains this personal research tool. Its Google authorization screen uses the name Stock Research Local Tools.
What the tool does
- Loads company financial history, market data, and analyst estimates.
- Calculates valuation scenarios from your spreadsheet assumptions.
- Updates worksheets after ticker edits and refreshes summary data on a schedule.
The automation runs in Google Apps Script. You use it through Google Sheets.
Google account access
Google asks for these permissions when you authorize the tool:
- Access to Google Sheets spreadsheets to read inputs and write valuation results.
- Connections to external services to retrieve financial data.
- Third-party web content in Google app prompts and sidebars for script interface features.
